Hiking All Around Switzerland
Michele and I are spending a month or so in Switzerland, to chill and to hike. This is an overview of the trip, with pointers to different parts of the story and photo albums.
Every year for the last three years, Michele and I have traveled to Switzerland to spend a week hiking in the mountains. (Photos from 2022, 2023, 2024).
It started out as a pandemic-delayed 30th anniversary thing and somehow turned into "yeah, we should go do that again, because." Because why? Because it's awesome.
This year (2025), it turned into "hey, let's just stay there a month... because".
In this case, "because" was: because I'm taking a bit of a break after three years of New York City, and so we could visit our daughter who somehow lives there, and so I could hike the Haute Route with friends, and so we could explore another few corners of the country, and ... let's be real, just because.
